CF TECH spun bond line type 3.
CF TECH has developed an extrusion plant for the production of calandered spun bond non woven fabric.
The end product is a perfectly uniform web resulting from a process which ensures a perfectly homogeneous filament distribution.
Two extruders feed three separate spinning beams; one extruder feeds the central one while the other feed the two side spinning beams. This configuration produces a sandwich web composed by two outer layers of one polymer and an inner layer of another polymer with bicomponent core-sheath filaments if so required, and ensures cohesion of all three layers.
Each spinning beam is equipped with 36 spinnerets; the total plant has 108 spinnerets creating a usable web of 3,2 meters. The three spinning beams are usually positioned parallel to each other across the web, but can also be specifically oriented to achieve customer needs of texture and tear strength.
Doffing is carried out by a suitable automatic winder; thus operators are only responsible for empty spool replacement and full bobbin transfer.
